Role Description The Litigation Associate will handle civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and managing cases from inception through resolution. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing legal memoranda, attending court appearances, and participating in depositions and client meetings. The role involves close collaboration with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide clear, practical guidance to clients. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Toms River, NJ, requiring regular presence in the office and local courts. Qualifications 4-7 years of experience Strong foundation in Law, with experience in civil litigation and relevant practice areas. Demonstrated ability to draft and argue Motions, including dispositive and procedural applications. Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources. Experience preparing for and conducting Depositions, including witness examination and strategy. Comfort appearing in Courts, managing hearings, conferences, and trial-related proceedings. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the New Jersey Bar. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
