Healthcare Assistant

Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting. This role supports healthcare delivery by assisting with patient management and clinical tasks tailored to the practice's needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.
• Ensure smooth healthcare service flow during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.
• Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management. Facilitate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and assist with patient instruction to ensure understanding of treatments and medication usage.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

This position offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
