Commercial Lines Account Executive

Overview Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to managing and expanding a portfolio of middle-market and large commercial clients, with a particular emphasis on property and real estate accounts. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise, exceptional client relationship management skills, and a proven ability to handle complex property risk placements. Compensation Package Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience. Responsibilities Design, place, and execute complex property insurance and risk management programs for middle-market and large commercial clients. Serve as the senior client relationship manager, offering strategic consultation, coverage design, benchmarking, and risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with producers, practice leaders, and carrier partners to develop innovative insurance solutions and optimize market leverage. Oversee renewal and new business strategies, including market selection, submission preparation, negotiation, and finalizing program structures. Act as a senior technical resource and mentor for account management teams, ensuring high service standards and technical excellence. Provide executive-level claims advocacy, coverage consultation, and exposure analysis. Maintain in-depth knowledge of property market trends, underwriting appetites, and emerging risks. Drive account growth through cross-selling initiatives and consultative risk management strategies. Qualifications/Requirements A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial insurance, with a strong focus on complex property risk placement. Demonstrated success in managing large, sophisticated middle-market and national accounts. Advanced technical expertise in commercial property coverage, policy forms, catastrophe modeling, and risk analytics. Strong executive presence with the ability to effectively advise C-suite executives and senior risk leaders. Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
