Certified Medical Assistant

T he Medical Assistant provides direct patient support in clinical settings, assisting physicians and nurses with routine tasks to ensure efficient patient care. This role is responsible for obtaining vital signs, preparing exam rooms, supporting patient intake, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical areas. The Medical Assistant ensures accurate documentation and contributes to a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Rec ord patient heights, weights, and vital signs. Prepare and set up patients in exam rooms. Clean and restock exam rooms after each patient visit. Support physicians and nurses with patient intake and routine clinical tasks. Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system (Epic). Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 year of Medical Assistant experience. Medical Assistant Certificate (National Certification strongly preferred). Must obtain National Certification within 3 months of permanent employment if not already certified. Experience using Epic electronic medical record system. Preferred Qualifications Nation ally Certified Medical Assistant credential at time of hire. Prior experience in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong patient care and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Knowledge of clinical workflows and exam room preparation. Team-oriented with a focus on patient-centered care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
