Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule, starting at 7 AM for day shifts and 9 AM or 11 AM for evenings. Every third weekend and every other holiday as needed. On-call: once per scheduled shift.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Contract Length: 14 weeks

Minimum 2 years of inpatient operating room experience, preferably with level 1 trauma.

Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).

Scrub experience is mandatory with competency in at least 5 surgical services including general, gynecological, and urological procedures.

Preferred experience in neuro and vascular surgeries.

Assist in the preparation and management of the surgical environment.

Handle surgical instruments and supplies appropriately during procedures.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

Maintain sterile conditions in the operating room.

Participate in ongoing education and training.

Be adaptable to floating to other areas as needed.
