Travel Med Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The registered nurse will be expected to perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families regarding their health conditions and care plans.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Must hold an active registered nurse license.
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
