Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities: Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism. Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. You will make sure employees, visitors and contractors are properly cleared and possess proper security badges when accessing the property. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel. You will protect property, materials, equipment, and information from danger of terrorism, sabotage, espionage, intrusion, and criminal acts. Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms. Function as a first responder in emergency situations. Requirements Conditions of Employment: A valid license to carry in Massachusetts required prior to employment. Must be a US Citizen. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
