Operations ManagerThe Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of industrial machinery and related components. This role leads production, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts while driving operational excellence, quality, and on-time delivery. The Operations Manager works cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, quality, and leadership to meet business objectives and support long-term growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, and logisticsEnsure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safetyDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, throughput, cost reduction, and waste eliminationOversee equipment utilization, preventive maintenance programs, and capital equipment planningDevelop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices across operationsMonitor KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on-time deliveryCollaborate with Engineering on process improvements, new equipment, and product introductionsManage and develop supervisors, team leads, and hourly workforceEnsure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standardsPartner with Supply Chain to optimize inventory levels, material flow, and vendor performanceSupport budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field5+ years of leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or machinery environmentsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and plant operationsProven experience leading teams and driving operational improvementsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principlesExperience with ERP/MRP systemsStrong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in machinery, heavy equipment, or capital equipment manufacturingMulti-site operations experienceSix Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltBackground in automation, CNC, fabrication, or assembly operationsExperience managing capital projects and large equipment installsKey CompetenciesLeadership & Team DevelopmentOperational ExcellenceSafety & ComplianceData-Driven Decision MakingCross-Functional CollaborationStrategic Planning & ExecutionThis position operates primarily in a manufacturing plant environment with regular exposure to machinery, equipment, and production areas.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
