The Project Manager will manage key accounts and lead project management at any point in time from concept approval through launch.

Key Responsibility:

• Own end-to-end project management for the customer portfolio, including new product development (NPD), formula changes, packaging updates, line extensions, tech transfers, and changes to existing commercial items.
• Serve as the primary internal lead coordinating cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Master Data) to ensure projects progress according to agreed timelines and scope.
• Manage project initiation through launch by defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities, while ensuring alignment to customer requirements and internal capabilities.
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and execution challenges, escalating issues as needed to protect customer commitments and launch timelines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, change control, and system updates to ensure visibility and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring customer requirements, priorities, and risks are clearly understood and considered in execution decisions.
• Serve as the voice of the company externally, aligning customers to internal processes, capabilities, lead times, and constraints while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
• Balance customer expectations with operational realities, proactively managing scope changes, timing impacts, and tradeoffs to enable successful outcomes for both parties.
• Support Sales by enabling strong customer experiences that reinforce PLZ's position as a reliable, execution-focused manufacturing partner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a consumer products customer service-related role, personal care products and or contract manufacturing strongly desired
• SAP is strongly desired.
• Effectively able to communicate at all levels of management internally /externally
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
• Promote cooperation by projecting a positive attitude

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
