[Required] + Ability to communicate effectively with Director, Bariatric Coordinator, Physicians, Staff, Practice Manager/Administrator, unit and administrative personnel, and a variety of other hospital staff. [Required] + Good verbal and written communication skills. [Required] + Ability to work well independently and with others in a team environment. [Required] + Ability to integrate the knowledge of teaching principles and techniques in order to provide education to patients and their families. [Required] + Possess a high level of organizational skills and effective time management to prioritize and adjust workflow according to changing needs. [Required] + Ability to function in demanding and emergency situations. [Required] + Possess orientation to detail. [Required] + Be proficient in computer skills, including a good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications. [Required] + Ability to adapt to change. [Required] + Experience working with insurance companies, including obtaining authorizations and preauthorizations. [Required] + Competent skills in secretarial, typing, and reception tasks. [Required] + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. [Required] + Ability to organize and integrate organization priorities and deadlines. [Required] + Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. [Required] + Ability to develop and initiate, in conjunction with corporate management and physicians, strategies for growth and development. [Required] + Speaks Spanish fluently. [Preferred] **Education:** + Associate [Preferred] + High School Grad or Equiv [Required] **Work Experience:** + 1+ experience in a clinical setting. [Required] + Insurance authorization/verification experience [Preferred] + Medical office or medical call setting experience.
