Cath Lab Technician

A hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona is seeking a mid-level Cath Lab Technician to join its clinical team. This is a fully on-site, in-person position requiring regular reporting to a designated facility location. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

The Cath Lab Technician will support cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures, working alongside clinical staff to assist in the care of patients undergoing invasive cardiac interventions. The position demands maintaining all current certifications and adhering to established safety and clinical protocols throughout every procedure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in a lab setting
• Support physicians and clinical staff during invasive cardiac interventions
• Operate and monitor cath lab equipment according to established protocols
• Prepare patients and procedural areas for cardiac catheterization cases
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control standards throughout all procedures
• Document procedural details and patient information accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols during each phase of patient care
• Ensure all required certifications remain current as a condition of employment

Qualifications

• Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification must be obtained within months of hire
• CI or RCIS certification preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
