Warehouse Associate

The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders. Experience is not required, and on-the-job training is available. Responsibilities Pick-Up Orders: Assisting customers in loading & securing their pick-up orders Inventory: Unloading and back stocking merchandise Delivery Prep: Pulling merchandise for outgoing deliveries from warehouse Assembly: Slight assembly of product to go to the showroom Safety and housekeeping:Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized & clean area. Disposing of any trash & perform other related duties as assigned. Who we’re looking for Friendly/Customer Service minded Individuals who work at a fast pace Requirements Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse Must Work Weekends No prior experience required Basic materials handling skills Understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standards Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks (training provided) Mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting capability are advantageous Willingness to learn inventory management and warehouse operations About Sam’s Furniture Sam’s Furniture was established in 1994 & is Northwest Arkansas’ largest furniture destination.
