Role Description

The Sales / Business Development Contractor. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting outbound prospecting, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through close. The individual will present Priority Customer's solutions to contractors, deliver product demos, and tailor value propositions to customer needs. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate CRM records, following up on leads, collaborating with internal teams to refine messaging, and providing feedback on market trends. The contractor will also support training for new clients to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term adoption of the platform.

We're looking for a Customer Success Contractor to drive business development and own the customer onboarding experience. This is a dual-role position: you'll generate new business through outbound sales and direct outreach, and you'll guide new customers from sign-up through full platform adoption. You are the human bridge between our AI-powered platform and the trade professionals who use it.

What You'll Do

Business Development & Sales (80%)

• Identify and engage prospective trade service businesses through outbound outreach (calls, emails, in-person visits)
• Conduct product demonstrations tailored to each trade's specific needs
• Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact through signed agreement
• Build relationships within the skilled trades community
• Attend local trade events, home shows, and networking opportunities
• Provide market feedback on pricing, competition, and customer needs

Customer Onboarding & Success (20%)

• Own the new customer onboarding process end-to-end — from signed contract to fully operational
• Configure customer accounts: service areas, pricing, scheduling rules, team setup
• Train customers on the platform, mobile app, and AI assistant capabilities
• Ensure customers are successfully taking calls, booking jobs, and seeing value within the first 30 days

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills for clear presentations, negotiations, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer Service skills to build trust, handle inquiries, and support clients throughout the sales and onboarding process.
• Proven Sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing new business with small and mid-sized contractors.
• Experience in Training customers or internal teams on software platforms, tools, or processes.
• Sales Management or account management experience, including forecasting, reporting, and strategic account growth.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales analytics; experience in SaaS or field service management solutions is a plus. xhyhwjd
