As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns. Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established protocols. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
