With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine.Primary Functions:Driver Helper assists drivers who deliver goods to businesses and customers. As a driver helper, you will be responsible for all activities except the actual driving: loading and unloading items, contacting customers, collecting payments, keeping in touch with dispatcher or manager, doing delivery paperwork, etc.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Loading and unloading company productsAssisting drivers to find delivery locationsCompiling accurate delivery records and reportsReporting all delivery-related issues to the supervisorEffectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaintsAssisting with the unloading products from the truck on each delivery locationObtaining clients and customers' signatures as an acknowledgement of having received the delivered productsEnsuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered toAny other duties assigned by the managementSkills and Qualifications:Proven customer service experience is preferredAble to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to work flexible hoursExcellent communication skillsFriendly and professional demeanorAbility to work with little supervisionPhysical Requirements:Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift-Carry, Push-Pull, Climb, and Repetitive Posture.While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.Frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
