Overview
Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in York, Maine. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,208-$2,279. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: four 9-hour shifts, 6:45 am to 4:15 pm, Monday through Thursday, with on-call. This is a hospital-based OR nursing role requiring strong orthopedic experience and active certifications.

Responsibilities
- Provide intraoperative nursing care as circulating and scrub nurse for orthopedic cases, maintaining a sterile field and assisting with instrumentation.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, surgical counts, and preparation of the operative suite; anticipate the needs of the surgeon and team.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, coordinate with anesthesia, document events, and uphold patient safety and aseptic technique.
- Maintain OR readiness and turnover, manage equipment and implants, and support efficient case flow.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff; participate in safety protocols and on-call duties as assigned.
- Adhere to mandatory BLS and ACLS standards; ensure proper counts, labeling, and instrument management throughout procedures.

Requirements
- Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
- OR experience with circulating and scrub responsibilities; strong orthopedic (ORTHO) expertise required
- Ability to work in an OR environment Monday through Thursday with on-call
- Experience level: 5 years of OR experience preferred
