Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
A hospital in Downey, CA is looking to hire Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide additional coverage. Providers will mainly operate independently, supervision is optional.
Location: Downey, CA
Setting: Hospital
Term: 3 months with a potential for extension
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 5x8
Pay Rate: $230 - $235/hour

Qualifications of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
- Active California CRNA License
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Active DEA license
- Board Certification required
- Proficiency in EPIC
- COVID vaccine and one booster required
- 1 year CRNA experience within the last 3 years required
Duties/Responsibilities of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
- Conduct patient assessments prior to anesthesia treatment.
- Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and recovery.
- Prepare and administer anesthesia medication via injection, inhalation, or oral medication.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery.
- Oversee patients' safety as they recover from anesthesia.
- Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
- Document patient care in medical records.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest anesthesia practices and procedure.
