Shuttle Driver – Job Description We are seeking Chauffeur Drivers for night shifts (full‑time or part‑time) with a Chauffeur or CDL license to provide safe rides for college students in Providence, RI. Evening shifts are 5 pm–12 am or 7 pm–3 am. The position starts in August 2026 and involves operating mini‑van style vehicles or 14‑passenger walk‑ons. Salary range: $21.00–$23.00 per hour. Base rate for shuttle drivers is $20/hour; drivers with a CDL and passenger endorsement earn $22/hour. Responsibilities Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way required. Safely shuttling customers to various destinations. Opening and closing doors for patrons. Adhering to all traffic laws and signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles. Communicating effectively with customers and co‑workers, including radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendants. Completing required pre‑trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements. Recording passenger counts and trip times. Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations. Assisting in equipment set up and break‑down (e.g., signs, cones). Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness. Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management. Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations. Qualifications Must be over 20 years old. Minimum 3 years of documented driving experience. Customer service experience is required. Valid RI Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement. Valid medical card required.
