Location: Portland, OR - Hybrid

Job Description

This hybrid role combines business analysis expertise with product ownership responsibilities and a touch of project coordination. The individual will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product features, eliciting and documenting requirements, and coordinating project activities to ensure successful delivery. This role requires a highly organized, communicative, and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of both business and technical domains, and a passion for delivering valuable products.

Responsibilities

• BusinessAnalysis:
• Elicit, analyze, anddocument business requirements using various techniques (e.g.,interviews, workshops, user story mapping).
• Create user stories,acceptance criteria, use cases, and process flows.
• Translate business needsinto functional and non-functional specifications.
• Liaison between business andtechnical teams.
• Validate requirements withstakeholders and ensure they are clearly understood.
• ProductOwnership:
• Define and maintain theproduct vision, roadmap, and backlog.
• Prioritize features and userstories based on business value and user needs.
• Collaborate withstakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into theproduct roadmap.
• ProjectCoordination:
• Assist in the creation ofproject plans and timelines.
• Track project progress andidentify potential roadblocks.
• Facilitate communication andcollaboration between development teams and stakeholders.
• Help manage project scopeand change requests.
• Organize and documentproject meetings and decisions.
• Monitor and report onproject status to stakeholders.

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in businessadministration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relatedfield.
• Experience in Utilityindustry is huge plus.
• Proven experience as aBusiness Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role for 5+years.
• Any business systems analystrelated certification is a plus
• Strong understanding ofproduct management and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage withstakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in requirementgathering, user story creation, and backlog management.
• Familiarity with projectmanagement tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
• Ability to work independentlyand as part of a collaborative team.
