Asset Management - Data Engineer (Oracle PL/SQL)

Job Summary (List Format) for Senior Data Engineer:
- Develop high-quality, scalable data engineering solutions for Fidelity's Asset Management Technology (AMT) business.
- Collaborate within a highly effective squad, focusing on continuous improvement of engineering efficiency.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL scripting, and database performance tuning.
- Utilize ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) and data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake).
- Analyze data, identify gaps, issues, and patterns, and build innovative solutions to address technical challenges.
- Apply strong data modeling skills, including quantitative and multi-dimensional analysis.
- Demonstrate understanding of data design concepts (transactional, data marts, data warehouses).
- Leverage beginner-level knowledge in Java, Python, REST API, and AWS (a plus).
- Deliver software leveraging DevOps, CI/CD practices (Maven, Jenkins, Git, Docker).
- Work within Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) to ensure effective software development (a plus).
- Communicate effectively with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Support a multi-terabyte data platform used for critical investment management business operations.
- Enable data-driven decision-making for investment users and customers, impacting billions of dollars in market investments.
