Role OverviewThis role leads end-to-end client content strategy within Product Marketing and serves as the central hub for all product marketing collateral, ensuring consistency, quality, and strategic alignment across launches, sales materials, customer-facing content, and executive communications.The Senior Manager is also the content lead for major events and executive keynotes, shaping high-impact narratives for AMD’s most visible industry moments. This is a highly visible individual contributor role, partnering closely with senior executives, Product Marketing leaders, events, communications, PR, and agency partners.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Editorial LeadershipOwn the client content strategy across product marketing, defining narrative frameworks, messaging standards, and quality bars.Serve as the central editorial authority for product marketing collateral, reviewing and shaping:Product launch messaging and narrativesSales decks and pitch materialsCustomer-facing collateral (datasheets, whitepapers, solution briefs)Event messaging frameworksExecutive and keynote presentationsPartner with PMMs as a hub-and-spoke model, providing guidance, review, and strategic direction while enabling scale.Ensure consistency of voice, messaging, and positioning across B2B and B2C audiences.Events & KeynotesAct as the content lead for major industry and company events, including CES, Advancing AI, MWC, Computex, IFA, sales conferences, and other high-profile moments.Own the story architecture and narrative development for executive keynotes and event presentations.Work directly with senior executives (SVP and VP level) to shape compelling, strategic stories.Coordinate closely with events, communications, PR, and agency partners to ensure aligned messaging and execution across channels.Cross-Functional & Agency CollaborationServe as a primary interface between Product Marketing and:Events and experiential teamsCorporate communications and PRExternal agencies and creative partnersProvide clear creative direction and feedback to agencies, ensuring output meets strategic and quality expectations.Balance speed, scale, and polish across multiple concurrent initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degreeDeep experience in product marketing, content strategy, or related roles within the technology sector.Strong preference for experience in semiconductors, hardware, or highly technical products.Proven track record owning high-visibility content, including executive presentations and/or major event keynotes.Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior executives.Deep experience collaborating with events, communications, PR, and agency partners.Exceptional storytelling, editorial judgment, and narrative development skills.Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor with broad strategic ownership.What Success Looks LikeA cohesive, high-quality client narrative across all product marketing content.Executive confidence and satisfaction with keynote and event storytelling.Strong alignment between Product Marketing, Sales, Comms, and Events.Scalable frameworks that enable PMMs to move faster without sacrificing quality.LocationAustin, TXThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-JE1Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
