Kennel Associate

Job Summary: Assist DVM and other hospital staff by providing direct care and maintenance of kennel, hospital and surroundings, feeding and general husbandry of boarding pets. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must treat animals with care and respect Must enjoy keeping pets and environment clean Must be able to communicate with clients and hospital staff Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Dependable attendance Any allergies to animals must be controlled through medication Must be able to fit 40 pounds Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions Must be able to maintain accurate written and digital records Duties: Client Relations Nursing Care Housekeeping and Maintenance of Hospital Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour depending on experience Benefits: We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and paid vacation/sick days, 401(k), generous employee pet discounts and more!
