Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Continuous monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic status
• Titration of cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips
• Care of general, vascular, or immediate thoracic surgical patients
• Interpret and act upon cardiac strips and rhythm
• Care for respiratory failure patients utilizing non-invasive ventilation

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical with telemetry or progressive care
• Proficiency in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring and intervention techniques
