Entry-Level Receiving Clerk -

Location: Rochester, NY - RIT Campus

Pay: $16.00/hour

Experience Required: No prior receiving or forklift experience required

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support dining operations on the RIT campus in Rochester, NY.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in reciving, inventory, warehouse operations, and material handling . Previous rece e iving or forklift experience is not required.

If you are dependable, comfortable working in an active environment, and interested in learning skills that can transfer into warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution careers, this could be a great place to start.

What You'll Do

• Receive incoming food, supplies, and other deliveries
• Check deliveries for accuracy, quantity, and condition
• Assist with unloading and moving incoming materials
• Stock and organize products in designated storage areas
• Rotate inventory and help maintain organized storage areas
• Transport products and supplies throughout the facility
• Learn to safely operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts
• Follow food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation procedures
• Work with dining and receiving team members to keep daily operations running smoothly

• No previous receiving or forklift experience required

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
