Operates metal and/or sand blast. Operator will have knowledge of all necessary procedures to ensure quality of product delivered, including disposal of waste material. Will set up, operate and clean blast machines following established procedures material as directed by supervision. Will aside materials to bins and skids as necessary. Will work from appropriate paperwork and be responsible for quality of own work. Will train other operators as directed. May operate blast machines in the Heat Treat area. While in the Heat Treat area may assist qualified Heat Treaters as directed. May use information systems as necessary to perform job duties.

Qualified candidates will possess a 3 to 5 year background in sand and/or shot blaster, have math skills - decimals and fractions, have good physical dexterity and prior use of a hand jack.
