Position Summary Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates while touring stores and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Key Responsibilities Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates: hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and recognizing performance. Build a workplace that values belonging, diversity, and inclusion, and promotes a culture where associates feel seen, supported, and connected. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the Open Door Policy, and uphold ethics and integrity. Attract, retain, and develop talent while fostering continuous learning and encouraging innovation. Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying business models, and making data-driven decisions that balance short‑ and long‑term priorities. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college; or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary range: $65,000.00 – $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
