What You'll Do

As a PRN Mental Health Technician, you'll work alongside nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, and other professionals to create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for our adolescent residents.

Your day may include:

• Building positive, therapeutic relationships with youth
• Supervising daily activities and ensuring resident safety
• Teaching healthy coping skills, communication, and life skills
• Encouraging positive behaviors while serving as a role model
• Assisting with meals, hygiene, recreation, and daily routines
• Documenting observations and resident progress
• Supporting therapeutic programming and group activities
• Using verbal de-escalation techniques (and physical intervention only when necessary-we provide all required training)
• Helping create an environment where healing can happen
What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who genuinely care about helping others.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, education, social services, juvenile services, childcare, or direct support
• College coursework in psychology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, nursing, education, or related fields

Schedule

This is a PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling.

Available shifts include:

• ☀ Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekend availability is encouraged.
