Machine Maintenance Assistant Details:
- Temporary position
- $16.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm )
- Monitor and accurately replenish oil levels in various machines and equipment.
- Utilize a refractometer to check and maintain appropriate coolant/water levels as required.
- Execute scheduled replacements of air, oil, and other fluid filters.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of equipment to identify visible leaks, wear, or damage.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date maintenance logs and service records.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and policies.
- Promptly report any mechanical issues, irregularities, or concerns to the supervisor.
Machine Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to perform visual inspections and apply a craftsman-like approach to tasks.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, contributing to a clean work environment.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience as a General Laborer or in a similar maintenance support role.
- Familiarity with basic machinist tools.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
