About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Medical Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum of 2 years Pediatric ICU experience, including ventilator management, inotropy, and central lines - Travel experience required License: - Registered Nurse license Certifications: - BLS - PALS Must-Have: - Experience in care of ventilated patients - Knowledge in congenital heart disease and repair - Experience in pediatric CVICU, PICU, post-neurosurgery Description: We are seeking a registered nurse for the Pediatric Medical Intensive Care unit. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric ICU setting. Candidates must have experience with ventilator management and central line placement. Individuals should be comfortable managing inotropic support. Nurses will float to PICU, NICU, MSICU, and CICU as needed. Weekend coverage is required, either every other weekend or every third weekend. Patients cared for may include those with complex care needs, trauma, and various pediatric diagnoses. The position entails both day and night shifts, with a rotation schedule. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. BLS and PALS certifications are required for this role.
