Training Specialist

Duties

The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Provide advice and assistance to employees and management concerning training and professional development opportunities.
• Reviews and analyzes training efforts to determine the effectiveness of the training program.
• Performs as a resource person as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for all training activities.
• Provides technical advice and guidance to other Training Specialists about a variety of complex problems encountered in work assignments.
• Provides leadership among a team of Training Specialists by training and providing guidance and assistance to lower graded staff members in performing unusual or complex projects and assignments.
