As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of multiple sites, ensuring a positive atmosphere for residents and visitors. Key Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate required Must pass drug test and maintain a drug-free status Successful background check completion Authorization to work in the U.S. with valid proof Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT) and complete all required training Meet all relevant legal and contractual security requirements, including firearm possession eligibility Valid Indiana Driver’s License Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written Ability to remain alert, exercise good judgment, and handle emergency situations calmly Primary Responsibilities Maintain order and protect people and property from harm or theft Conduct roving patrols and monitor premises vigilantly Report incidents, hazards, and found articles accurately in writing Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and emergencies Control access to facilities and verify identities of visitors and personnel Use communication devices and client property responsibly Employ personal defense tactics and de-escalation techniques when needed Why Join Us?
