Hayward Holdings Inc. This position is based in Mocksville, NC.

Position Overview:

Responsible for coordinating the work of others in accordance to the production and/or customer requirements in the Shipping Department as an extension of the Supervisor. Responsibilities include all material handling aspects in Shipping receipts, stocking, picking, auditing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of Supervisor and/or Department Manager, coordinates work on floor, reports bottlenecks and assists in keeping the work flow going in a specific area in order to meet department and company Safety, Quality, Service, and Costs goals.
• Must be familiar with all functions of distribution operations.
• Must be familiar with RF/WMS equipment and AS400 applications.
• Must be able to research and troubleshoot issues.
• May be required to unload/load trucks, conveying material from storage or staging to designated areas.
• Able to count locations and use a calculator accurately.
• Available to work extended hours or other shifts during peak season or as needed.
• Lift heavy objects by hand or with assistance; insures clean work area, machines, and equipment in support of Safety and 5S.
• Monitoring productivity evaluate hourly progress against daily targets of team members.
• Training ensure procedures are followed and understood. Maintain quality and accuracy.
• Team Member Communication regular feedback to team members regarding performance to production standards and organization information.
• Leadership displaying a positive, result and solution driven leadership style to support department goals.
• Performs all duties in accordance with company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior distribution experience.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Must be able to read and write English and comprehend basic math skills.
• Must have basic PC skills with Microsoft Office, WMS, AS400.
• Able to be Forklift certified by Hayward Industries for sit down lift, stock picker, reach truck, and Bendi.
• Cannot have a fear of heights.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work overtime are both required.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree preferred with 1 to 3 years' experience or equivalent operations work experience preferred (3 to 5 years in a high volume distribution center, inventory management, or warehouse setting).

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to operate a forklift, sit down lift, stock picker, reach truck, and Bendi safely.

Work Environment: The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The noise comes from forklifts, delivery trucks, and office equipment.
