This 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week) position supports our mission to promote, protect, and improve student health and well‑being. Our clinicians also provide a wide range of preventative care in support of the UHS overarching mission of promoting students' academic and personal success through an integrated model of medical, mental health, and prevention activities and services. Compensation The starting salary is $95,824.00 and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner Experience providing clinical assessment and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care settings Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date Current Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) license or eligibility to obtain prior to start date Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification Preferred Qualifications Experience working with college students or young adults, with sensitivity to a diverse student population Experience in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries Experience performing in-office procedures, (e.g., cryotherapy, incision and drainage, ingrown toenail removal, laceration repair) or willingness to learn Experience providing gender-affirming care Education Master's degree in Nursing How to Apply Please upload a cover letter and resume to apply.
