Job Title Travel: RN Main Operating Room - Days (4x10) Location Springfield, Missouri Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 4x10 (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Onsite Key Responsibilities Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care Assist with vascular surgery cases in the OR and Hybrid Imaging suite, supporting both endoscopic and open cases alongside a team of nurses and surgical techs Utilize the nursing process to maintain professional accountability for patient care, evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary and other departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards and guidelines Function within the scope of nursing preparation consistent with established guidelines, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and applicable codes of conduct Required Qualifications Current RN license — must meet criteria for eligibility for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only Minimum 2 years of Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience will be considered) Demonstrated experience as both a Scrub and OR Circulator Flu vaccination or approved exemption required seasonally (November 1 – April 1); declinations are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills Level 1 Trauma experience with multiple years in a high-acuity surgical environment Experience working with robotic surgical systems (e.g., DaVinci) and EPIC EMR Highly motivated, self-starting personality with strong human relations and communication skills Why Join Us Work in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center facility recognized for excellence in patient safety, cardiac care, and stroke certification, offering exposure to a wide range of complex surgical cases Springfield, MO offers a vibrant community with diverse dining, local breweries, museums, parks, and cultural attractions to enjoy during your assignment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 772395.
