Willing to assist at nearby practices as needed Primary Responsibilities: Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging procedures Explains procedures and process to patients Moves imaging equipment into the specified position; determines exposure factors based on height, weight, the portion of the body involved, and the degree of penetration required; and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff Performs Transthoracic Echocardiographic examinations Performing Vascular studies. This includes, but not limited to carotids, lower extremity arterial and venous duplex for insufficiency, abdominal aorta, and renal artery Doppler Venous insufficiency is preferred Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of data and preliminary report Optum NY/NJ was formed in 2022 by bringing together Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical and ProHealth Care. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound RDCS/RCS RVS/RVT License or temporary permit to practice in the state of New York 1+ years of experience in Ultrasound Ability to work independently Ability to travel between different offices Physical Qualification: Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment.
