Key Account Manager, Las Vegas

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The Key Account Manager (KAM) reports to the Regional Sales Director and is a member of a specialty field team supporting Dompé’s first ophthalmic biologic product based on rhNGF for patients with neurotrophic keratitis. The KAM is accountable for field activities including education of healthcare professionals (cornea specialists, comprehensive ophthalmologists, and optometrists) and supporting medical and office staff. The KAM will develop center and physician‑specific plans, strategically deploy messages and resources, and understand local payer dynamics to improve patient access. An entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, and adaptability to new situations are required. Achieves business goals on a quarterly and annual basis Becomes an expert in the science of corneal healing and clinical trial data, communicating its significance Serves as a resource to physicians and staffs to enable education and access to our medicines Collaborates with cross‑functional partners: patient access, managed care, medical science liaison, marketing, HR, legal, compliance Creates and implements an effective business plan to guide strategy and track progress throughout the year to achieve short‑ and long‑term objectives Leverages internal data, tools, analytics and insights to determine where and how approved resources and marketing messages should be deployed within territory Manages assigned territory budget effectively Builds and maintains relationships with cornea thought leaders locally in partnership with key internal team members Actively participates and leads territory business planning meetings Represents Dompé at professional society meetings as directed Shares best practices and market dynamics with peers Complies with all laws, regulations and policies governing Dompé activities Manages assigned geography with a diverse customer base of physicians and accounts Travels by plane and car 40‑60% as required

YOU COULD BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or experience in healthcare preferred 5+ years of successful healthcare sales or account management experience, owning territory and large geography 3+ years of experience in biotech/specialty sales preferred Live within the KAM geography

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:

Past work with rare or orphan disease products Eye care sales experience and relationships in the anterior segment therapeutic area, in private clinic and hospital/academic setting Exceptional clinical acumen in complex, scientifically demanding environments Proven track record of exceeding business goals Ongoing learning and deepening expertise in own functional area Self‑motivated, assertive, and able to act with urgency Understand strategic priorities set by leadership Open to feedback for performance and skill development Appreciate diversity of perspectives among peers Strong strategic planning and organizational skills

Compensation includes a competitive base, incentive bonus, and standard benefits. Actual pay is determined by experience, qualifications, geographic location and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
