HVAC Inside Sales / Counter Sales Representative

Benoist Brothers Supply Co. – Fenton, MO

Benoist Brothers Supply Co. is seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative (Counter Sales) to join our Fenton, Missouri branch. This role is ideal for someone with HVAC experience who enjoys helping contractors, building relationships, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment.

As the face of our counter, you'll assist customers with product selection, process orders, coordinate with the warehouse, and help keep our customers productive and successful.

Responsibilities

· Assist HVAC contractors and trade professionals at the sales counter and over the phone.

· Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

· Recommend products, accessories, and replacement parts based on customer needs.

· Research product availability, pricing, and technical information.

· Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

· Maintain organized displays and a clean, professional counter area.

· Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.

· Handle returns, warranty inquiries, and order issues professionally.

· Support branch operations and work collaboratively with teammates.

Qualifications

· HVAC industry experience preferred (contractor, wholesale distribution, or related field).

· Previous counter sales, inside sales, parts sales, or customer service experience is a plus.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask in a busy environment.

· Basic computer skills and the ability to learn distributor software.

· Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mindset.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
