This position is responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting physicians with procedures, and assisting with front office duties, as needed.**Essential Position Responsibilities*** Obtain patient vitals and update patient medical history while inputting data collected into the electronic medical records system* Prepare patient for various types procedures and/or examinations and assist physicians, as needed* Refill provider-authorized medications via electronic, fax or phone as authorized and appropriate* Provide direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician* Assist patient by providing direction, support, and counseling regarding medical therapies and medications as directed by the physician* Serve as patient liaison and advocate, as needed* Schedule surgeries and various diagnostic tests and provide scheduled date to the patient**Qualification*** **Education**: Graduate of an accredited nursing program* **Licensure and Certifications**: Valid registered nurse license and CPR, required.* **Experience**: Previous experience in a clinic setting, preferred.This position will spend 80% of time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
