Junior HR Leave & Accommodations Associate
6+ month contract
Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid)

Position Summary
The Leave & Accommodations Associate will provide temporary administrative support to the Leave & Accommodations team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining experience in leave administration and workplace accommodations.\n

\n The role will assist with employee inquiries, documentation, data entry, case follow-up, and coordination with internal partners and the third-party leave administrator.\n
\n
Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Respond to routine employee questions related to leaves of absence and accommodations.
\n
• Monitor the leave and accommodation mailbox and help ensure inquiries receive timely responses.
\n
• Enter and update leave and accommodation information in Workday.
\n
• Assist with coordinating leave requests between employees and the third-party leave administrator.
\n
• Track requests, documentation, and outstanding follow-up items.
\n
• Provide employees with required accommodation paperwork and follow up on outstanding documentation.
\n
• Support communication with HR partners, Payroll, and managers regarding leave and accommodation matters.
\n
• Assist with Paid Parental Benefit requests.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
\n
• Escalate questions or more complex cases to the appropriate team member.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
\n
• 1–2 years of HR, administrative, benefits, or related experience preferred.
\n
• Previous leave of absence or accommodation experience is helpful but not required.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
\n
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
\n
• Experience with Workday and/or Smartsheet is a plus.
\n
• Comfortable learning and navigating multiple systems and web-based tools.

Estimated Min Rate : $14.00\n
Estimated Max Rate : $20.00\n
