Fitter

We’re looking for an experienced fitter who can read prints, solve challenges, and keep our top-quality work on schedule and moving smoothly. Shift: Second shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Responsibilities Check materials to make sure they meet customer specs and our quality standards Operate shop equipment as needed for the job Set up welders and other shop equipment Build fixtures and other aids to improve workflow Follow all company safety rules—everyone goes home safe Help train and guide newer crew members Keep your work area clean and organized Requirements Must be able to read blueprints, run equipment, weld, and burn Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication High school diploma or GED Valid AWS D1.1 Certification required Candidates must be willing to join Local Union 851 if hired. Candidates must be currently eligible to work in the U.S. without further visa sponsorship.
