Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support their operation and upkeep of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently to minimize downtime.

Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce production interruptions
• Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before failures occur
• Assist with installation, setup, and modification of equipment
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reliability

Shift: 2nd & 3rd Shift

Pay: $24-$40/hour

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with PLCs, motors, conveyors, and production equipment (preferred)
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or shifts if needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
• Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
