Lead Toddler Teacher Opening

*$500 Hiring Bonus*

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through quality teacher-created lesson planning that utilizes gathered assessment data.
• Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
• Establish positive and effective family relations through professional communication.
• Proficient with inter-personal communication between children, peers and parents.
• Must maintain professional commitment to the Goddard play-based philosophy.
• Applicants for this position must be willing to work 8:30am – 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Applicants should have a love of teaching, working with children, and have the desire to learn and grow within the early childhood education field!

Applicants Must Have  OR Be Willing to Obtain:

• An active Merit account - Washington's Professional Development & Workforce Registry
• A Portable Background Check (through Merit)
• The following required prerequisites: Negative COVID Test, Proof of COVID Vaccination, Negative Tb Test, CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens Training, WA State Food Handlers, and proof of MMR immunization.
• A degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education (or relevant field)
