Join Our Team as a Facility Janitor – 2nd Shift!

Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM Pay: $15.15/hour

Do you take pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming? We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Facility Janitor to join our team on 2nd shift. In this role, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our employees by ensuring our offices and manufacturing facility are well cared for each day.

What You'll Do

As a Facility Janitor, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility, helping create a safe and productive workplace.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Clean offices, breakrooms, restrooms, hallways, and designated outdoor areas.

Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned work areas.

Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and other restroom fixtures.

Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility and dispose of waste properly.

Clean trash cans, mop heads, and janitorial equipment as needed.

Restock paper products, soap, and other janitorial supplies.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and update supply records as needed.

Safely use cleaning chemicals while following all company safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized janitorial closet and work area.

Complete basic computer updates and documentation when required.

Assist with additional housekeeping duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.

Minimum 9th-grade education.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety procedures.

Good communication skills and the ability to read and follow cleaning checklists.

Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent movement throughout the shift.

Candidates should be able to:

Stand and walk for most of the shift.

Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed.

Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the workday.

Safely work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Have good vision, including close, distance, and peripheral vision.
