Pipe Stress Engineer

Supporting commercial nuclear projects, the contract Pipe Stress Engineer will perform stress analyses, prepare engineering specifications, and design modifications for power generation facilities while working remotely. Key responsibilities Perform stress analyses and develop design recommendations for modifications to existing power plants and new systems Prepare piping and engineering specifications to ensure code compliance and lead design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project teams Provide technical support for field execution and mentor junior engineers in technical guidance Required qualifications BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university 2-5 years of piping/mechanical design experience with a focus on pipe stress analysis in nuclear facilities or similar systems Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTStrudl, and Mathcad Professional Engineering License preferred Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
