Duties Description Rendering "in-house counsel" advice to program managers; preparing pleadings; planning litigation strategy; drafting legislation, rules, andregulations; analyzing legal opinions, briefs and other material; performing legal research and analysis; drafting or reviewing contracts; preparingopinions and memoranda of law; or appearing at administrative tribunals or courts.Provide legal advice to staff of OSC's Division of Local Government and School Accountability. Provide advisory technical assistance to municipalattorneys, local government officials, taxpayers and others on various areas of law relating to municipal government and finance. Assess the legalsufficiency of applications submitted by local governments . Make presentations at training seminars and webinars for municipal attorneys andother local government officials.
