Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (Venezuela) / Remote (rest of LATAM) Employment Type: Full-time as an Independent Contractor (compensation in USD through DEEL) About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to serve as the execution engine behind the CEO and COO of a fast-growing fintech company in Latin America. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys bringing structure to complexity, and has a strong ability to drive cross-functional execution. You'll ensure strategic initiatives move forward, eliminate roadblocks before they become problems, and keep leadership informed while coordinating across multiple teams. This is not an administrative position. We're looking for someone with strong business judgment, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining momentum across every initiative. Responsibilities Project Execution & Follow-up Drive execution of strategic projects initiated by the CEO and COO, ensuring milestones are achieved on time. Monitor progress across multiple initiatives and proactively identify risks or blockers. Resolve issues independently whenever possible or escalat to the appropriate stakeholders. Maintain clear project tracking systems that provide visibility into the status of every initiative. Cross-Functional Coordination Manage several projects simultaneously without compromising execution quality. Balance competing priorities and allocate attention effectively when timelines or resources conflict. Ensure accountability across teams and keep projects moving forward. Executive & Team Communication Maintain consistent communication with the CEO and COO, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and next steps. Build strong working relationships across departments to facilitate collaboration and effective execution. Translate leadership priorities into clear, actionable tasks for the broader team. Serve as the bridge between executive strategy and day-to-day execution. Qualifications Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills with minimal supervision. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with executive leadership. Ability to proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve blockers. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Chief of Staff, Senior Project Manager, Operations Lead, or a similar strategic operations role. Experience working in startups, scale-ups, or fintech companies. Familiarity with the Latin American payments or fintech ecosystem is a plus.
