The Veterinary Assistant Technician plays a vital role in supporting veterinarians and veterinary technicians in small animal clinics by ensuring excellent animal care and efficient clinic operations. This position involves direct patient support, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining clear communication with clients to facilitate a smooth clinical environment. We are a small privately owned hospital that is very busy. We are looking for the right person with the right work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide general animal care and assist in monitoring patient health
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care and clinic procedures
• Assist veterinarians and technicians during medical examinations and treatments
• Support radiology procedures by preparing animals and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in veterinary assistance
• High school diploma or equivalent
