What You\'ll Do We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Staff to join our team. As a Tax Staff member at LJB CPA, you will have the opportunity to work on various tax-related assignments, develop your tax expertise, and contribute to the success of our clients and firm. This is an in-office position based in our Dallas office. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns. Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Research: Conduct tax research to support the resolution of complex tax issues and provide solutions to clients. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax information, answer inquiries, and provide support during tax audits and assessments. Data Analysis: Analyze financial documents, statements, and records to identify tax-related opportunities and challenges. Tax Planning: Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize clients’ tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws. Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate tax records, documentation, and workpapers to support tax filings and client needs. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the tax team to meet deadlines, share knowledge, and provide exceptional client service. Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your tax knowledge and skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
