Appian Technical Lead

Senior Appian Consultant

Marathon TS is looking for experienced Senior Appian Consultants to provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Senior Appian Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business.

What You'll Be Working On

• Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies
• Supports design, development, and test activities
• Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success
• Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
• Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement
• Provide thought leadership on process improvement
• Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
• Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources

How You'll Excel In Your Role

• 5+ years of experience with Appian solutions
• 5+ years of related IT experience
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
• Active DOD Secret Clearance
• Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification
• Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology
• Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude")

Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required:

• Appian
• RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB)
• Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion)

Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS:

• Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
• Data management and data visualization/BI
• DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management
• Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence
