Position Summary
The Quality Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the YMCA of Greater Nashua’s Early Education Center by ensuring all programs operate in full compliance with New Hampshire Child Care Licensing regulations, YMCA policies, funding requirements, and accreditation standards. This position oversees compliance systems, documentation management, regulatory readiness, and quality assurance practices that support safe, high-quality, and mission-driven early childhood programs.
The Quality Coordinator works collaboratively with program leadership and classroom staff to promote operational excellence, child safety, and continuous improvement while helping create an environment where children, families, and staff can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain compliance with all NH Child Care Licensing regulations.
- Ensure adherence to requirements from federal, state, and city funding sources.
- Maintain readiness for inspections, monitoring visits, and licensing reviews.
- Support NAEYC accreditation preparation and documentation.
File & Documentation Management
- Maintain staff files in compliance with licensing regulations.
- Maintain children’s files including medical forms, enrollment paperwork, and required documentation.
- Ensure all background checks, trainings, and credentials remain current.
- Creating a systematic process to ensure compliance.
Program Monitoring
- Conduct regular internal compliance reviews of classrooms and center documentation.
- Work with the Director to prepare for licensing inspections – Daily Classroom observations with checklist.
- Monitor ratios and regulatory requirements.
- Support Food Service Staff and USDA Regulations.
Reporting & Data Management
- Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Assist with grant reporting and regulatory documentation.
- Maintain program records in accordance with licensing and funding requirements.
Training & Policy Implementation
- Ensure staff understand licensing regulations and YMCA policies.
- Support staff training on mandated reporting, emergency preparedness, and safety procedures at monthly staff meetings.
Safety Oversight
- Monitor facility safety, health standards, and cleanliness.
- Ensure emergency procedures and documentation remain current and visible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of New Hampshire Child Care Licensing Regulations.
- Experience with licensing compliance, audits, or program administration preferred.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple regulatory requirements and deadlines.
